Here are answers to common questions about Floravault’s preserved flower gifts, delivery, and DIY materials.

About Preserved Flowers

Are preserved flowers real flowers?

Yes. Preserved flowers are real botanicals that have been specially treated to retain their appearance without water. Some designs may also include naturally dried flowers and foliage.

Do preserved flowers have a scent?

Because preserved flowers undergo a special treatment process, a slight scent may be noticeable at first. This is normal and will gradually fade over time.

How long do preserved flowers last?

With gentle handling and proper care, many preserved flowers can retain their appearance for approximately 1–3 years or longer. Their lifespan depends on the flower type and display conditions, so a specific lifespan cannot be guaranteed.

How should I care for my flowers?

Do not water or mist them. Keep them indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat, high humidity, and strong airflow. Handle petals gently. For detailed care tips, see our Care Instructions.

Will my arrangement look exactly like the photos?

Each arrangement is made with real botanical materials, so small differences in colour, size, shape, and placement are normal. These natural variations make each piece unique.

Products and Availability

What does “ON THE WAY” mean?

It means the bouquet is in transit to our Calgary inventory and is not ready for immediate delivery. Availability can change while an item is in transit. Please check the product page for current availability or contact us at info@floravault.ca.

Calgary Local Delivery

Where do you currently deliver?

We currently accept orders for eligible Calgary delivery addresses only, including preserved floral gifts, custom designs, and DIY floral materials. Delivery outside Calgary and Canada-wide shipping are not currently available. Enter your postal code in the checker on our home page. Checkout shows available local-delivery options. For addresses near the Calgary city boundary, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm that your full street address is within our delivery area.

When is Calgary delivery free?

Our opening promotion applies to eligible Calgary addresses within 30 km through November 30, 2026. For DIY-only orders, local delivery costs CAD $20 when the materials subtotal before tax is below CAD $59, and is free when that subtotal is CAD $59 or more. Orders containing a finished bouquet or custom bouquet qualify for free local delivery during the promotion, including DIY materials delivered to the same address in the same delivery trip with the bouquet.

How far ahead should I order One Flower for Every Year?

One Flower for Every Year is available for Calgary orders only. Choose a delivery date at least four days after placing your order so we have time to prepare your bouquet. Preparation times for other custom designs are shown on their product pages.

Do you offer same-day delivery in Calgary?

Some in-stock products may qualify for same-day Calgary delivery. Availability depends on the order cut-off time, delivery capacity, address, weather, and preparation requirements. The options available for your order will be shown at checkout.

Orders and Support

What is your return policy?

All sales are final, and we do not accept returns for change of mind. Any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Contact us at info@floravault.ca as soon as possible. Whether an order can be changed or cancelled depends on its preparation and local-delivery status.
